5 Star Nursing Care at Loveday: Exceptional Support, Meticulously Tailored

Loveday is a lovely place where you feel at home. There is a fantastic restaurant with well-prepared healthy and varied food, and there is calm and relaxed music, giving a good atmosphere. There are many great lifestyle experiences for the Members.

Registration was very easy. The care staff were extremely welcoming and went to great lengths to ensure I was comfortable. The kitchen team were very accommodating and prepared delicious, enjoyable meals.

What stood out most was the effort every member of staff made to build a personal relationship with me. I appreciated the use of first-name terms – it made things feel relaxed and respectful.

The activities, both within the residence and out at the theatre, were really well thought out.

My wife entered Loveday at a time when it had become apparent that she had only a short time remaining. Her care needs were such that her welfare and dignity depended on the professionalism and kindness of her carers, and we gave much anxious thought to where she would be best looked after. We opted for Loveday as we had received several recommendations praising the care offered. From our first contact, through the assessment process, the admission and my wife’s stay there, my wife and our family were treated with an exceptional level of kindness, understanding and compassion. The infrastructure and facilities are more like a 5* hotel than a care home and are far ahead of any other care home that I have seen (and I have seen many over the years), but it was not these that stood out for us. Rather, it was the professionalism and empathy of the staff and the level of care that they provided, which was truly outstanding.

We could not have hoped for better.
