Roland Haimer
Head of Operations
Roland brings +25 years of hospitality experience, with an extensive background in luxury hotels, private clubs and premium service environments across the UK and internationally.  His career has included senior leadership roles with some of London’s five-star brands, including Four Seasons Hotel London at Park Lane, The Connaught, One Aldwych, Firmdale Hotels and The Athenaeum Hotel & Residences.  Most recently, Roland has been General Manager of The Farmers Club in London, where he has led a significant improvement in both operational and financial performance, alongside strengthening guest satisfaction and developing a high-performing service-focused team.
Throughout his career, Roland has developed a strong reputation for combining exceptional hospitality standards with hands-on operational leadership. Â His experience spans food and beverage, rooms, events and wider hotel operations, giving him a deep understanding of what it takes to create consistently outstanding experiences.
Shelley Kruger
Relationship Manager
Shelley Kruger joined Loveday Belgravia following a career in luxury later living, where she developed an understanding of both the property and personal considerations involved when people are thinking about the next stage of their lives. Her professional experience, alongside her own experience of care settings, has shaped the way she works with prospective residents and their families.
As Relationship Partner, Shelley places particular importance on trust, listening carefully and understanding what matters to each person before guiding them through the process of joining Loveday. She works closely with the clinical and hospitality teams so that individual preferences and requirements are understood before a resident arrives, helping to make the transition as considered and reassuring as possible. Shelley enjoys music, theatre, dining out, travelling and reading, as well as spending time with family and friends.
José Pinto
Group Clinical Specialist
José began his healthcare career in Portugal as a paramedic and rescuer before training and qualifying as a nurse. Since moving to England in 2013, he has developed extensive clinical and leadership experience within the care sector, progressing into management in 2019. His background combines frontline clinical practice with a strong understanding of quality assurance, regulatory compliance and clinical governance.
As Group Clinical Lead at Loveday, José works across the residences to strengthen clinical standards, governance and quality, supporting teams to deliver safe, consistent and person centred care. His approach is grounded in clinical knowledge, attention to detail and continuous improvement. Away from work, José enjoys sea fishing, motorcycling, metal detecting and mountain biking.
Petra Ionescu
Director of Operations
Petra Ionescu brings extensive senior leadership experience to her role as Director of Care and Quality at Loveday. With a career spanning home management, regional oversight and multi-site operational leadership, she has worked across some of the UK’s largest care organisations, driving regulatory improvement, strengthening clinical governance and commissioning new services to the highest standard.
At Loveday, Petra is responsible for advancing care quality and ensuring robust, consistent clinical practice across all residences. Her approach combines strategic clarity with a strong focus on supporting teams to deliver excellence in every interaction. Petra is deeply committed to maintaining the highest standards of care, embedding best practice and ensuring residents and their families experience confidence, trust and exceptional service at every stage.
Anca Stefan
Senior Nurse
Anca was inspired to pursue nursing from an early age by her mother, who is a doctor, and the difference she saw her make to her patients. She particularly values the relationships nursing allows her to build with residents, taking the time to understand their history, preferences and what matters to them alongside their clinical needs.
For Anca, excellent nursing comes from knowing each resident well, building trust and understanding the individual behind their care.
Matt Dodge
Executive Chef
Executive Chef Matt Dodge has been part of Loveday for nearly a decade and brings extensive experience of creating food that combines excellent dining with the nutritional needs of residents. His work has received industry recognition, including the Creative Nutrition Award at the Dementia Care Awards and selection as a finalist in the NACC Care Chef of the Year 2026.
Matt works closely with the clinical and hospitality teams to develop seasonal menus around residents’ individual tastes, dietary requirements and wellbeing. He believes nutritious food should never come at the expense of flavour or enjoyment, and that dining should remain one of the pleasures of everyday life.
