Chiropodist and Podiatrist

As we age, our feet become more susceptible to problems due to the thinning of the skin and a decrease in elasticity. It also becomes harder for individuals to care properly for the feet, with poor eyesight and flexibility affecting the ability to maintain them. Podiatry in the elderly is extremely important as it helps safeguard against many risks, including falls, infection and pain. Our resident podiatrist visits weekly to ensure optimum foot health for our residents and Members.

At Chelsea Court Place, we work in partnership with qualified and licensed podiatrists and chiropodists to prevent, diagnose, treat and rehabilitate abnormal conditions of the feet and lower limbs.

The treatments provided include:

  • Toenail problems, such as thickened, fungal or ingrown toenail
  • Bunions, corn calluses
  • Heel pain
  • Athlete's foot
  • Dry and cracked feet
  • Blisters
  • Ageing feet
  • Gout request, as and when required by our Members
