Loveday Hosts GP Talk on Alzheimer’s - Spotting the Early Signs

Loveday was delighted to host a CPD educational talk for doctors on “Alzheimer’s, How and Why it’s Important to Spot the Early Signs” which was presented by Dr Emer MacSweeney a leading Consultant Neuroradiologist and Medical Director of the brain and mind clinic Re:Cognition Health.

The talk was attended by local GPs who were all interested to hear about the new-generation medications being developed in clinical trials, the opportunities for their patients and the future of research into the very important area of Alzheimer’s.

Dr MacSweeney informed the audience on how the clinical trials work, the advantages to volunteers, current and future opportunities and the potential benefits of participating. The talk was highly informative, educational and very inspiring for the doctors in attendance.

At Loveday, we are passionate about educating and bringing together experts to discuss, challenge and make progress. We are dedicated to collaborating with the medical profession to improve outcomes not only for our Members but also the wider community.
