Loveday is delighted to announce the official opening of Loveday Esher, a stunning new senior-living residence in the heart of Surrey. The launch was marked with a beautiful garden party in the sunshine, attended by over 100 guests including the Mayor of Elmbridge, Councillor Steve Bax, who warmly welcomed this exceptional addition to the community.
Housed in a meticulously restored Grade II listed building dating back to 1864, Loveday Esher combines historic elegance with modern luxury. The residence offers residential, respite, memory care and day club services, designed to deliver the highest standards of personalised care.
Spanning three floors, the property boasts 37 luxurious suites and outstanding amenities including a hydrotherapy pool, state-of-the-art gym, art studio, library, salon, and charming tearoom. Surrounded by landscaped gardens, the residence offers a tranquil retreat for Members and their families.
Guests enjoyed an afternoon of culinary delights, from hibachi-grilled teriyaki chicken to seasonal canapés, complemented by champagne and bespoke mocktails. A highlight was the Esher Lemonade, crafted using honey from Loveday’s own bee hives, underscoring the residence’s commitment to sustainability and wellbeing.
In his welcoming speech, Chairman Laurence Geller CBE shared his personal motivation for creating Loveday: “Care is not simply a service, it’s a calling. Every detail has been designed to support excellence and meaningful engagement.”
