A Message From Our Founder
Thank you for your interest in Loveday. On behalf of our Loveday family, I extend the warmest welcome.
My career has always been rooted in hospitality, beginning as a chef and culminating in the ownership of luxury hotels with iconic brands such as The Four Seasons and Ritz-Carlton. These decades of experience, combined with a deep passion for enhancing the lives of seniors, led me to create Loveday, a calling that is both personal and profound.
We understand the weight of the decision you are facing. Choosing care for a loved one is rarely straightforward, and I know this intimately, having navigated this emotional journey with my own parents. The challenge of finding truly personalised, compassionate care inspired me to establish Loveday. Tragically, both my parents succumbed to dementia, six years apart, a disease that I remain acutely aware of and dedicated to combating. My commitment led to my appointment as Chairman of the Alzheimer’s Society National Dementia Appeal, and I continue to champion dementia care across the UK.
I am joined on this journey by my son, Guy, whose 25-year career in care, spanning the UK and USA, has included transforming Sunrise UK as its Managing Director. Together, our vision is to provide Care Beyond Compare, personalised to the preferences of every Member. We believe that when care is delivered with such attention, it truly transforms lives.
