Residents recently attended a talk exploring the relationship between creativity, self-expression and wellbeing.
The session examined the role artistic practice can play across different stages of life, considering how creative activity may provide structure, enjoyment and continuity through painting, drawing, writing and other forms of expression.
Discussions also looked at the connection between identity and creative practice, and the ways creative work can continue to hold significance over time.
The talk formed part of Loveday’s ongoing cultural and intellectual programme across the residences.
