Nestled in a quiet corner and surrounded by beautifully planted borders, Loveday Kensington is the most exquisitely appointed residence imaginable. The staff and the standard of care are equally outstanding.
My husband feels as though he is living in a multi-starred hotel, and it is with the greatest pleasure that I visit and often stay to enjoy lunch or dinner with him, as well as the afternoon recitals by young musicians and singers.
If the time comes when I too need looking after, I can only hope that I may move in as well.

We used Loveday Kensington for our dad for some temporary care, and it has worked out brilliantly. The staff were excellent from the start, ensuring his care needs were fully understood.

The food and dining service are more like a restaurant, with attentive waiters. Many family members and friends have visited Dad, and everyone has been impressed by how well he looks and how attentively his care and medical needs are handled.
The Relationship Partner and the team keep us well updated on Dad’s progress, and the communication has been superb.

The staff at Loveday Kensington were exceptionally helpful from the very start. It was a rush, as my mother was due to be discharged from hospital just before Christmas. This didn’t faze the staff at all – they sprang into action and went above and beyond. My mother became a Member on Christmas Eve and has been happy ever since.
There are numerous activities, and Members are encouraged to take part. The residence is pristine, well laid out, and open plan, which means Members are never isolated or lonely.
The food is outstanding, and the dining service is reminiscent of a restaurant, with attentive waiters. Visitors are warmly welcomed with tea, coffee, or anything else they might like – along with a lovely selection of snacks and pastries.
Visits are welcome at any time, and communication with the family is excellent.

My husband needs care – and we both needed a holiday! Loveday was the ideal place to meet both of these needs.
I was able to go to exhibitions, theatres, and films without worrying about my husband. Family living nearby could visit and join us in exploring the area. We both took part in exercise classes and enjoyed the in-house afternoon concerts.
The care and concern for our wellbeing were amazing. The overall atmosphere was friendly, calm, fun, and highly professional. All the staff seemed to genuinely enjoy their work and had time to engage with Members while going about their duties.
It takes great organisational skill – and, of course, a strong staff-to-Member ratio – to handle such a wide range of complex tasks and make it all seem effortless.
By the end of our stay, we were genuinely sorry to leave our adopted family, who had filled our days with care and love.

Before placing our loved one, who was in the early stages of dementia, into a care home, we visited many providers across the Greater London area. Once we found Loveday, our search was over. There is simply no comparison in terms of the quality of facilities and care they offer.

Staff turnover appears to be very low, which is a huge benefit, as it provides Members with long-term consistency and familiarity in their care. We received regular updates and the team were incredibly accommodating, even arranging video calls for us at any time of day or night – something we found immensely comforting.

The care at Loveday exceeded even our very high expectations. It is indeed expensive and beautifully presented, but the level of care provided matched – and surpassed – everything I had hoped for.
My wife entered the residence bedridden, with a prognosis suggesting she would remain so for the rest of her life. By the time she left, she was walking with minimal assistance, doing her physio exercises, and sitting in her chair throughout the day.
But most importantly, her mental outlook transformed – from defeated and hopeless to determined and hopeful. Loveday provided a solid foundation for her ongoing rehabilitation at home.
These may sound like small steps, but compared to the prognosis when she left hospital (after five months), they were great strides.

General Manager
Mark Chakravarti has more than 25 years of experience across hospitality and healthcare. His career includes senior roles with organisations such as Barchester, Sunrise and Bupa, where he managed multiple care residences and achieved an Outstanding CQC rating. He began his career in hospitality with leading venues including the Royal Academy and National Gallery and holds a Master’s in Finance and Corporate Strategy.
At Loveday, Mark oversees the operations at Belgravia and Kensington, focusing on maintaining high standards of care and service. He works closely with teams to ensure Members’ comfort and wellbeing remain at the centre of daily life. Outside work, Mark plays cricket for Hertfordshire and enjoys tennis and time outdoors.

Regional Relationship Partner
Victoria Abrahams is the Regional Relationship Partner at Loveday, responsible for guiding people through the journey from initial enquiry through to onboarding new Members.
Victoria has enjoyed an exciting career in the healthcare industry spanning 16 years, six of which have been in the care sector working for providers including Gracewell, Hallmark and Care UK.
For Victoria, her passion for care runs in the family. She was inspired to join the care industry by her mother, who has dedicated her life to working in senior care. Victoria’s warm and empathetic nature ensures she effortlessly guides families through the process when enlisting care services, bringing ease and reassurance during what is often an emotional time. Her extensive knowledge, practical approach and calm personality make her well-equipped to find solutions to every care enquiry, even the most complex requirements.
A passionate “foodie”, Victoria loves dining at the best restaurants and can often be seen sampling the Loveday menus with Members. She looks forward to enjoying tea with you soon!

Lifestyle Partner
Combining her background in Architectural Engineering with a passion for mental wellbeing, Pooja Tanwar brings a unique perspective to her role as Lifestyle Partner at Loveday Kensington. She designs person-centred programmes that blend creativity, purpose and care, ensuring every Member feels valued and engaged. Her proudest achievements include community exhibitions celebrating the power of art and connection. Beyond work, Pooja enjoys large-scale painting, creative projects and seeking out new adventures.

Hospitality Manager
With over 15 years of experience in luxury hospitality, Sunaina has spent her career leading front-of-house operations in five-star hotels, including managing a 329-bedroom property. Her passion for people and service excellence led her to Loveday, where she combines her hospitality expertise with a long-held interest in care. During the pandemic, she volunteered with the NHS, which deepened her desire to work in an environment centred on human connection and purpose.
As Hospitality Manager at Loveday Kensington, Sunaina oversees the residence’s hospitality operations and supports the wider team, ensuring every detail contributes to Members’ comfort and happiness. Known for her hands-on leadership and belief in kindness, she motivates her team through example and takes pride in delivering the refined, person-centred experience Loveday is known for. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, gardening and helping neighbours in her local area.

Chef
Having worked in professional kitchens since the age of 16, Sam brings more than a decade of culinary experience within the care sector and a strong foundation in hospitality. A graduate of Westminster Kingsway College with a Professional Chef Diploma, he has gone on to earn multiple accolades, including National Care Chef of the Year (2017) and finalist positions in the NACC National Care Chef of the Year competition.
As Head Chef at Loveday Kensington, Sam is responsible for creating nutritious, seasonal dishes that reflect Members’ individual preferences and enhance their daily experience. His focus is on quality, creativity and consistency, ensuring every meal meets the highest standards of taste and presentation. Outside of work, he enjoys live music, film, travel and time with friends.
