At Loveday, we believe that support for those living with memory loss extends far beyond the individual, it also embraces the family members, friends and carers who walk alongside them each day. To empower and support these unsung heroes, we are proud to host the Loveday Abbey Road Memory Café, held on the last Thursday of every month from 2-4pm.
Our Memory Café is a welcoming environment where people come together to share experiences, find reassurance and connect with others who truly understand the challenges and rewards of supporting a loved one with memory loss.
A Place for Connection and Comfort
Living with, or caring for someone affected by memory loss can feel overwhelming at times. The Memory Café provides an opportunity to take a pause, enjoy a cup of tea and meet others on a similar journey. It is a space filled with empathy, understanding, and shared wisdom, reminding us all that we are not alone.
Informative, Engaging, and Practical
Each month, our Memory Café will host engaging talks, live demonstrations, and group discussions. Topics will range from practical everyday tips and wellbeing advice to self-care strategies and guidance on accessing local resources.
Our aim is to provide both inspiration and tangible tools that can help make daily life a little easier, while also celebrating moments of joy along the way.
