Loveday Belgravia was honoured to host the official launch of Care Home Open Week 2025, a nationwide initiative celebrating the incredible work of the social care sector. Over 100 care professionals gathered at our elegant residence to recognise the extraordinary people and places shaping the care industry in the UK.
The event marked the final stop of the Great British Care Cycle Relay, a 500km journey from Edinburgh, visiting care homes and highlighting the importance of social care. We proudly welcomed the cycling team across the finish line in Belgravia, joining in applause with sector leaders and guests.
Sian Hammer, Managing Director of Loveday delivered an inspirational speech commending the incredible people in the care sector who transform lives every day. She also paid tribute to the cyclists, whose passion and resilience demonstrated a powerful symbol of the strength and unity in care.
We were delighted to be joined by MP Josh Fenton-Glynn, who delivered a heartfelt speech affirming his commitment to social care and the need for it to be recognised alongside the NHS. His words moved many, highlighting the vital role the sector plays in national wellbeing.
With over 4,000 care homes participating in Care Home Open Week 2025, this national campaign is a powerful reminder of the compassion, dedication and innovation that define social care. Loveday is proud to lead the way and to celebrate alongside an industry so full of heart.
