Residents recently visited the Royal Hospital Chelsea, where they explored the Connecting Creativity exhibition at the Prince Philip Building, curated by Grace Holliday, Loveday’s Artist in Residence. The exhibition showcased artwork created by the Chelsea Pensioners, highlighting both creativity and individual expression.
The visit extended to the grounds and workshops, including haberdashery, leatherwork and pottery, where traditional skills continue to be practised and the quality and detail of the handmade work stood out across each discipline.
The visit provided a valuable opportunity to engage with craftsmanship, heritage and artistic practice in a setting closely connected to London’s history.
