Discover Loveday’s industry leading approach to Parkinson’s care in London
Expert Nursing and Clinical Support
When you live at Loveday, you have registered nurses present 24 hours a day, providing experienced clinical care whenever you need it. They work closely with in-house and visiting specialists, bringing the different aspects of your care together around you.
The nurses working across Loveday residences have an accumulated tenure of 59 years, reflecting the experience and continuity behind our approach. Taking the time to know you means that your care is informed not only by your clinical needs, but also by the routines and preferences that are important to you.
Your care plan is developed around your individual needs and may incorporate tailored physiotherapy, symptom management, cognitive support and other therapeutic programmes where appropriate. These different elements are coordinated as part of your wider care, rather than treated in isolation.

When Care Needs Change, We Adapt
Parkinson’s is a progressive condition, and your care needs may change over time. At Loveday, your care plan can evolve with you. We work with you, your family and relevant healthcare professionals to understand what has changed and determine what additional care may be appropriate.
Because our nursing teams take time to know you, they understand the routines, preferences and priorities that are important to your daily life. When additional support is needed, changes can therefore be introduced with familiarity and sensitivity, while maintaining continuity in the care you receive.

Transitioning Into Parkinson’s Care
Deciding to transition into specialist care can feel like a significant step. Our Relationship team is available seven days a week to talk through your circumstances, answer your questions and help you understand what happens next.
We respond to short-notice and urgent enquiries and, in many cases, a private suite can be ready the very same day you make contact. We can also support transitions from home or hospital, subject to assessment and availability.
Before admission, a comprehensive assessment considers your clinical needs, personal preferences and daily routines. This information is shared with the nursing team so that your care can be thoughtfully planned before you arrive.
From your first conversation with Loveday, you will have someone to guide you through the process and help make the transition as considered and reassuring as possible.
Maintaining Family Connections While Living With Parkinson’s
The people closest to you remain an important part of your life, and we want that to continue when you live at Loveday. Regular communication helps families stay informed, while conversations around care provide opportunities to share their understanding of changing needs, preferences and priorities.
Our teams take time to understand the relationships, interests and routines that matter to you, helping these remain part of everyday life. Loved ones are welcomed to visit, share meals and spend meaningful time together, whether in the privacy of your suite or within the wider residence.
