Music from two very different traditions featured in a recent series of performances at the residence.
Jazz vocalist Grace Sheene marked D-Day with a programme that included Vera Lynn classics and songs associated with the wartime years, commemorating an important moment in British history through music.
Later in the month, Yuri Sabatini presented an afternoon of opera, performing a selection of romantic works from the operatic repertoire. Together, the performances reflected the breadth of music enjoyed within the residence, from twentieth-century classics to much-loved operatic favourites.
