The quality of our food has always been one of our highest priorities. We believe that good nutrition is paramount to health and wellbeing.
There is some evidence that adherence to a Mediterranean diet (with a high proportionate intake of cereals, fruits, fish and vegetables) may lower the risk of cognitive decline and dementia.
Our menus are designed by our Executive Chef Matt Dodge and Head Chef Alex in our own kitchens. Matt is supported and advised by a talented team of culinary experts, nutritionists, sommeliers and restauranteurs to provide ongoing expert opinion.
The brigade prepares home-cooked dishes of the highest luxury restaurant standard with a balance of health, nutrition and enjoyment, including a thoughtfully designed all-day snacking menu, speciality teas, own-brand coffee and biodynamic wines.
Once a month we prepare a special afternoon tea with light entertainment, a pianist or harpist, where families can gather on a Friday afternoon to enjoy each other’s company.
Supper Clubs are also held regularly with guest speakers providing insights on dementia research and a host of other topics that are of interest to our members and their families and friends.
The Private Dining Room is an excellent place to celebrate a family birthday or special occasion.
