Activities play a hugely important role for people living with dementia, helping to improve their quality of life and overall wellbeing. Activities such as physical exercise, social interaction and mental stimulation can enhance cognitive function, slow the progression of symptoms and reduce feelings of depression and anxiety. Staying both mentally and physically active enables individuals with dementia to maintain a sense of purpose, independence and connection with others.
