Meet the Loveday Team: Jonathan Conway

Where do you live?
I live in St Albans, Hertfordshire

Hobbies & interests?
I enjoy listening to music & and watching films.

Career highlight?
Managing a 20-bedroomed hotel in North London for eight years with my parents. My role as the Assistant Front of House Manager in a five star hotel was also a career highlight.

What music gets you dancing with Members?
Whenever Robert starts playing the piano, I am usually encouraged to have a quick dance with our Members.

Favourite part of London?
Leicester Square. I love the atmosphere around this area with people enjoying themselves visiting the theatres and restaurants.

Favourite movie?
Too many to select just one! I am a big horror movie fan so I would say that Halloween would be my all-time favourite film.

Favourite part of job?
Building and maintaining relationships with our Members and their family and friends.

Favourite restaurant (in London)?
PF Chang’s in Leicester Square

Favourite holiday destination?
Mykonos

Favourite part of the day?
Travelling to Central London. I never tire of seeing the London skyline from Blackfriars station. It always puts a smile on my face!

What gets you out of bed in the morning?
Knowing that every day I have the opportunity to make a real difference to a Member and their family and friends.

If you could take Members on a journey anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
Las Vegas! It’s a place that you have to visit at least once in your life, and it has something there for everyone to enjoy.

What does good care mean to you?
Good care to me is when it becomes second nature. When a Member’s welfare and wellbeing is at the forefront of everything you do.

Favourite meal to enjoy with Members?
It has to be Fish & Chips on a Friday, this is always a favourite!
